Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent no. 1 and Sri Ugrasen Kumar Pandey appears for the second respondent.

Petitioner is before this Court with a request commanding the second respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner in relation to his shop in the name of 'Kabir Coth House' situated in Mohalla Bhitwa Tola, Near Noor Manjil Roshan Nagar Road, Khalilabad, Sant Kabir Nagar within stipulated time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner in support of his submissions has placed reliance upon the judgment passed by this Court in Narayan Prasad v/s State of U.P. and 2 others (Writ-C No. 27543 of 2020, dt. 1.2.2021) and as such it is sought to be contended that the present matter is squarely covered by the aforesaid judgment and the similar treatment may also be extended to the petitioner.

The above said argument of learned counsel for the petitioner is not being disputed by learned Standing Counsel as well as counsel for the second respondent.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of Narayan Prasad (supra). We direct the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner subject to his making application in accordance with law and the procedure prescribed and giving indemnity bond and fulfilling all other requirements within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.
