The applicant through the present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court with the prayer that Addl. Civil Judge (J.D.)/Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, court no. 17, Allahabad be directed to conclude the trial of Case No. 681 of 2020 (State vs. Ravendra Singh and others), arising out of Case Crime no. 0014 of 2019, under sections 498A, 323, 406, 504, 506 I.P.C. and section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Mahila Thana, district-Prayagraj.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is a lady, who is facing matrimonial dispute. He next submits that chargesheet in this case has been filed on 12.6.2004 and cognizance was taken against the accused persons on 20.2.2020. The complainant is adopting the delaying tactics for lingering the case.

After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. and after perusing the material on record, this application is finally disposed of with a direction that the aforesaid case crime number pending before the concerned court below be decided expeditiously, as early as possible in accordance with Section 309 Cr.P.C. and in view of principle as has been laid down in the recent judgment of Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Vinod Kumar v. State of Punjab reported in 2015 (3) SCC 220 and Hussain and Another v. Union of India; 2017 (5) SCC 702, if there is no legal impediment.
