The petitioner had earlier approached the Magistrate concerned under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. for lodging of first information report but the same was rejected. Being aggrieved she filed a revision before the District Judge, which has also been rejected.

Instead of challenging the said orders the petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus for lodging of first information report in the light of the judgment of Apex Court in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of U.P. and others; AIR 2014 SC 187. The petitioner should assail the said orders, if so advised.

Writ petition stands disposed of as this petition is not maintainable at this stage.
