Sri Ankit Srivastava, learned State counsel is present, who has been heard.

The present appeal has been filed by the appellants- Salim @ Kana and Kallu against the judgment and order dated 31.10.1986 passed by V Additional Sessions Judge, Meerut in Sessions Trial No. 259 of 1983, Police Station Railway Road, District Meerut.

As per office report dated 12.10.2022 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellants in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 12.10.2022 informed that the appellants- Salim and Kallu have died. In support of which a report of concerned police station and the copy of death certificate issued by Nagar Nigam, Councillor and the copy of the statements of the other witnesses have also been annexed thereto.

Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

Office is directed to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge concerned within two weeks from today.
