The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceedings against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 20.04.2016 passed in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 17374 of 2016 (Prem Singh, Retd. Peon vs. State of U.P. and others).
From perusal of the record, it appears that either the order of the Writ Court has been complied with or the parties have lost their interest.
In the circumstances, it is needless to keep this contempt application pending.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed
However, in case any relief still survives in the present application, the applicant shall be at liberty to file application for revival of the present application.
