This criminal appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 25.9.2002 passed by Additional District Judge, Court No. 7, Meerut in S.T. No.108 of 1994 (State vs. Ved Prakash and others) under Sections 323, 324, 326, 307, 504 & 506 IPC, Police Station - Baleni, District - Meerut.

From perusal of the report of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut dated 9.4.2021, it transpires that the appellants- Ved Prakash and Subash have died.

In view of the above stated fact that the accused / appellants have since expired during course of the pendency of this appeal, this criminal appeal stands abated.

Consequently, this criminal appeal is dismissed as abated on account the death of the accused-appellant.

The present criminal appeal is accordingly dismissed as abated.
