Heard Mr. R.K. Sahu, Advocate, holding brief of Mr. Sunil Vashisth, learned counsel for applicant and learned A.G.A. for State.

Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Advocate, holding brief of Mr. Subhash Chandra Yadav, Advocate has put in appearance by his vakalatnama in Court today, which is taken on record.

This application for anticipatory bail has been filed by applicant - Nitin Nagar in connection with Case Crime No.0677 of 2020, under Sections 498-A, 494, 354, 376, 511, 323, 307, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- Transport Nagar, District Meerut.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of material brought on record as well as complicity of accused and also judgment of the Apex Court in the case of P. Chidambaram Vs. Directorate of Enforcement, AIR 2019 SC 4198, this Court does not find any exceptional ground to exercise its discretionary jurisdiction under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the present application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
