Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State.

Sri Pradeep Singh, learned counsel has accepted notice on behalf of respondent no. 7.

Present writ petition has been filed seeking following relevant prayers:

"A. issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing allotment order dated 4.11.2020 passed by respondent no. 3 with regard to fair price shop of Gram Sabha Bahuti Tehsil Madihan District Mirzapur.

B. issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to decide the petitioner's representation dated 3.10.2020 in accordance with Government Order dated No. 2/2020/775/29.06.2020-162 Sa/2001 dated 7.7.2020 in accordance with law."

In view of the judgment rendered in the case of Hari Pal vs. State of U.P. and Others (Case no. 16086 of 2020) decided along with other connected matters by Lucknow Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 24.5.2021, self- help group is no longer entitled for allotment of fair price shop.

Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the fact that now self- help group is not entitled for any allotment. As such, the relief as prayed for in the petition cannot be granted.

Accordingly, present petition stands dismissed.
