Learned counsel for the petitioners is present.
Compliance report on behalf of State is being filed by the State on affidavit by Mr. Ram Singh, Station Officer, Police Station - Partapur, District Meerut.
In compliance of the Court's order dated 23.05.2016, it is submitted by the Investigating Officer that the date 22.07.2016 was fixed regarding lie-detector test in the court concerned then another next date 27.07.2016 was fixed for the same. The State is directed to file further compliance report regarding the lie-detector test.
Learned counsel for the petitioners is also directed to give information, if any, regarding whereabouts of the corpus and also if the corpus is in illegal detention of anybody else. Merely on the basis of suspicion that respondent nos. 6 and 7 are responsible for disappearance of the corpus, it can not be said that corpus is in illegal detention of respondent nos. 6 and 7. It is a matter of investigation and investigation is in progress. In case, any information in this regard is not being provided by petitioners then appropriate order be passed on the next date of listing.
List this matter on 08th September, 2016.
Further appearance of the Investigating Office of the case is exempted till further orders of this court.
