Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material available on record.
By means of the instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the applicants have prayed for expeditious disposal of Special Sessions Trial No. 18 of 2011 arising out of case crime no. 2 of 2011, under Sections 376 IPC and 3 (2)(v) of the SC/ST Act, Police Station Kotwali Utraula, District Balrampur pending before the trial court.
Learned counsel for the applicant restricts his prayer only to the extent that the aforesaid case may be decided as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
Learned A.G.A. has no objection to his innocuous prayer.
In view of the above, this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to decide the Special Sessions Trial No. 18 of 2011 arising out of case crime no. 2 of 2011, under Sections 376 IPC and 3 (2)(v) of the SC/ST Act, Police Station Kotwali Utraula, District Balrampur as expeditiously as possible.
