Petitioner is claiming confirmation on the post of Head Master in Uchcha Prathamik Vidhyalaya. The petition is pending since 1996 without any interim order or direction. At the time when petition was filed, the petitioner as per his affidavit was aged about 57 years who was at the verge of retirement.

In view of the above, I do not think that any cause of action survives in the writ petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
