The petitioner was working as an Accountant in Pension Secretariate. In pursuance of the letter dated 27.1.2009, the petitioner applied for the post of Accountant (Koshagar). By the letter dated 26.6.2009 the petitioner has been appointed as an Accountant for the period of two years on temporary basis. The lien of the petitioner's service still stood in parent Department. By the letter dated 24.5.2012 the Directorate Pension has extended the period of engagement for three years further. However, by the impugned letter dated 6.8.2012 written to the Directorate Pension Secretariate, the District Magistrate, Ferozabad has informed that the term of the petitioner has been treated as completed as period has been wholly expired.

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner was initially engaged for two years in the year 2009 and further period of three years has been extended by the letter dated 24.5.2012 which will expire in the month of May, 2013 and, therefore, the reversion to the parent Department of the petitioner on the ground that the period of service has been wholly expired is not justified.

Ms. Suman Sirohi, learned Standing Counsel prays that the matter may be taken up on Monday (5.11.2012) to enable her to seek instruction.
