About the Position

They are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Associate to manage contract drafting, legal documentation, and compliance activities. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure smooth execution of legal and business transactions while mitigating risks.

Work:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor, service, partnership, NDA, and distribution agreements.
  • Review and respond to legal notices, demand notices, and formal communications in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
  • Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of all contracts and documentation.
  • Manage and resolve legal queries and support successful contract negotiations.
  • Develop compliant contracts that optimize commercial terms while minimizing legal risks.
  • Maintain a contract repository and track renewals Identify potential legal risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate them.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel/firms to represent the company in legal matters 

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M) from a recognized institution.
  • 2-3 years of PQE in contract management or legal roles.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and litigation processes.
  • Experience in legal research and advisory, with exposure to IPR and data privacy.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in reviewing legal documents.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
