Concept Note
The Indian Penal Code was enacted in the year 1860. In the midst of cataclysmic upheavals, social and political, it stands as a tribute to the genius of LORD MACAULAY who, as the president of the First Indian Law Commission constituted in 1834, said: “Our principle is simply this- uniformity when you can have it; diversity when you must have it; but, in all cases certainty.” The Indian Penal code is a role model in the matter of certainty. During the 143 years of its existence on the statute book, it has undergone the last number of amendments. Indeed, rarely one comes across a judgment stressing the need to fill in any lacuna in the Penal Code due to ambiguous language or otherwise.
As such the importance of the knowledge of the Criminal law is paramount to every citizen of India; hence we bring to you National Quiz on Constitutional Law.
Contributors
We look forward to participation from Researchers & students studying in any Law Schools / Colleges / Departments of the Universities recognized by Bar Council of India. Post Graduate Students are also eligible to participate.
Prizes
- Winner will be awarded Cash Prize of ₹1500/-, momento & Certificate of excellence with Internship Opportunity.
- Runner-up will be awarded Cash Prize of ₹1000/-, momento & Certificate of excellence with Internship Opportunity.
- 3rd will be awarded Cash prize of ₹500, momento and certificate of excellence

Important Guidelines
Format of Quiz
Quiz shall take place online, a paper will include the question in different formats, viz. Multiple Choice Question, One Word Answer, Short Answers.
The participant can give this exam from their home or hostel with the use of a Laptop or Mobile Phone.
Syllabus
Quiz will cover the different aspect of Indian Constitution, Constitutional History, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Amendments, Evolution of Constitution & important articles.
How to Participate
If you wish to participate in quiz competition, please pay the nominal registration fees at below mentioned link & submits your details on registration form attached with the payment link.
Rules & Regulations
- Quiz shall have 50 questions.
- Time will be of 45 minutes.
- Every question carries 01 marks & there will be no negative marking
- The results declared would be final and the authority vests with legumkings to change or modify the same.
- The participant should be pursuing law either under a three or five-year law course.
