Traffic policemen have booked 6,315 people for using pressure horns since last month. They also booked 53 motorbike riders for fixing modified silencers and impounded the vehicles.
Traffic cops said that during the drive, the car owners were forced to remove the horns from their vehicle before being allowed to go. Cops had started the drive after being hauled up by the court on actions taken against pressure horns & modified silencers. The court had directed the ACP (Traffic) to submit a report on the action taken & listed the petition for July 24.
