April,2,2017:

Matter will now come up for hearing on April 10.

Bombay High Court has granted a stay on release of Actress Raveena Tandon's comeback movie, 'Maatr' since its Producer, Anjum Rizvi, hasn't paid his dues to YT Capital Pvt. Ltd.

Justice Gautam Patel on Thursday passed the order against the producer Anjum Rizvi & T-Series, saying that the movie shouldn't be released anywhere in any country & its negatives shouldn't be released or parted with to anyone.

The Bombay High Court has also stopped Anjum Rizvi from creating or selling any rights in negatives of 7 previous films, John Day, India Metro, A Flat, Fast Forward, A Wednesday, Ahista Ahista & Charges: A Joint Effort.

YT Capital Pvt Ltd had filed a case through Advocate Rajiv Narula in November 2015 seeking repayment of ₹2 crore paid to Rizvi in September 2014, for the movie 'Katha' which never released.

HC passed an order in YT Capital's favour for recovery of ₹2.44 crore, including interest.
