The Divison Bench of the Uttrakhand High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice S. K. Mishra and Justice R. C. Khulbe in the case of Sachidanand Dabral v. Union of India & Ors has sought response from the State Government that if any ragging activity took place in HIMS Swami Rama Himalayan University, Jolly Grant, Dehradun.
The Bench instructed the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand to confirm that if any ragging activity has taken place in ‘HIMS Swami Rama Himalayan University, Jolly Grant, Dehradun’, as we have received an anonymous complaint about such an incident having taken place.
The Court listed the matter on 11.05.2022 for next hearing and in the meantime rejoinder affidavit be filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
