The Division Bench of the Patna High Court comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice S. Kumar in the case of Sanjeev Kumar Mishra v. The State of Bihar and Ors has issued notice to the Patna Municipal Corporation and District Management for seeking response in a matter related to lack of public toilets for women in city.
The Bench expressed its concern and expounded that Patna Municipal Corporation and District Management should file reply within a period of two weeks.
The Petitioner has filed a PIL stating that there are very less numbers of Public Toilets available for women in the State and those which are available are not maintained properly.
The Court has posted the matter on 13.05.2022 for next hearing.
