The Single Judge Bench of the Manipur High Court, comprising Justice A Guneshwar Sharma in the case of Deeksha Dwivedi vs State of Manipur & 2 ors has extended interim protection against an advocate who is facing legal action after participating in a fact-finding mission related to the Manipur violence.
Advocate Diksha Dwivedi has been booked for serious charges, including sedition and conspiracy to wage war against India, in connection with her participation in a fact-finding mission related to the Manipur violence.
Advocate had earlier moved to Supreme Court which granted interim protection to her .
Considering the facts of the case, The Bench extended the interim protection to the advocate.
The Court listed the matter on 13.09.23 for next hearing.
