Oriental School of Law is one of the premier law college established in Indore. It offers quality legal education at Undergraduate, Postgraduate levels in the form of BA.LL.B. (5 Year), LL.B (3 Year) & LL.M. (1 Year Course).

These courses are recognized and approved by the BCI. Besides this, the college offers Diploma and Certificate courses in the areas of specialization in Cyber Laws and IPR.

About the Article Competition

As we all can witness that the condition all around the world is deteriorating due to COVID-19 and almost everyone including students is confined to their homes.

Oriental School of Law invites the young minds to pen down their views to participate in the Article Writing Competition, on any one of the topics mentioned below. This article writing competition provides an exclusive opportunity to write down their thoughts and to bring a change through their views and expressions.

Topics

• Ageism in workplace.
• ‘Gramodaya’ (development of villages) is a prerequisite for development of India.
• Students protest and the effects of it on their education.
• Impact of COVID-19 on environment in future
• COVID-19: Strengthen Family Bonds Versus Domestic Conflict and Violence.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing their Undergraduate course from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate.
• Students pursuing their Postgraduate course from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate.
• Students pursuing their M.Phil./Ph.D. Scholars from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate.

Prizes

• Best Paper: Rs. 3,100/- + Certificate of Merit
• 2nd Best Paper: Rs. 2,100/- + Certificate of Merit
• 3rd Best Paper: Rs. 1,100/- + Certificate of Merit
• All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

How to Submit?

Participants must send in their submissions before 11:59 P.M on the 5th of June, 2020 to varalikashrivastava[at]orientaluniversity.in. Any articles received after the deadline shall not be given any consideration.

How to Register?

• The registration fee shall be Rs. 100/- (One Hundred) for each participant.
• The participants have to pay the registration fee via any of the below mentioned payment mode.
• After registration, participants need to fill the particulars in this Google Form.
• Filling details regarding payment in the Google Form is mandatory.

Mode of Payment

PayTm: In order to make payment through PayTm, you need to follow some simple steps:

• Open the Paytm app in your smartphone.
• Now, tap on the Pay or Send option in the left-hand corner.
• The scanner will now launch. Now, bring the scanner close to the QR Code provided here.
• Once the scanner detects the QR Code, you will be landed on the payment page. Here, you will be able to see the University detail.
• Now, Go to “New Registration”, then “Semester Fee” and fill the particulars asked in the column and specify the amount to be paid (i.e., 100/-). Add Course: ‘Fees’. Once done, tap on Pay.
• Once the transaction is successful, you will receive a confirmation on the screen. Plus, you will also receive an instant message on your phone once the transaction is complete.

Bank Transfer (NEFT): Participant can also pay via bank account Transfer. The details for the same are as follows:
