About the Organiser

National Law University, Jodhpur is an institution of national prominence established under the National Law University, Jodhpur, Act, 1999 enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature. The University is established for the advancement of learning, teaching, research and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law.

The Centre for Legal Theory is an organisation based out of the National Law University Jodhpur. They aim to enhance debate and discussion in the field of law and jurisprudence in India, as well as around the world.

About the Writing Competition

In furtherance of our objectives, the Centre for Legal Theory is proud to announce the first edition of its opinion writing competition. The aim is to create a conversation on a plethora of themes and scenarios designed to incite debate and opinions.

They are not expecting overly technical entries, but rather practical, engaging and opinion orientated content. They do not expect in-depth legal arguments, but rather, an insight into your opinion and your reasons for the same.

Submission Registration and Application Details

The last date for submissions is 13th October 2019.

There is no registration fee.

Top 3 winners stand a chance to win monetary prizes and will be published on our blog.
