Submission Guidelines

Participants are mandatorily required to comply with the following guidelines. Please note that submissions violating any of the guidelines mentioned below will not be considered for evaluation.
Word limit: 1500-2000 words, exclusive of abstract and footnotes.
Word limit for abstract: 150-200 words
Formatting guidelines for main body of the essay: Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, and justified alignment.
Formatting guidelines for footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10, line spacing 1.0, and justified alignment.
Footnotes must strictly be in accordance with the OSCOLA (4th edition) format. Endnotes and descriptive footnotes are not permitted.
The essay submitted must be the original, un-published and non-plagiarised work of the author(s).
Co-authorship is allowed for the maximum of 2 authors.
Submissions of essays are to be made via mail to the CADR Email-ID (cadr@nludelhi.ac.in) with the subject “Submission of Essay | Essay Competition 2024”.
