Cyber Meme Competition 2024 by Cyber Cell at Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida [May 10]: Register by May 8

About the Organiser and Event

One of the main objectives of DME Cyber Cell is to create an ecosystem for prevention of cybercrime and to provide cyber safety tips to citizens for cyber hygiene. To disseminate cyber awareness and cyber hygiene, Cyber Cell, DME is hosting a ‘CyberMeme Competition’ as part of its annual inter-college event, Cyber League.

It shall be a fun and interesting way to spread cyber awareness, especially about the cyber crime helpline number and the national cybercrime reporting portal that one and all, and especially the youth must be aware of, as the chances of them falling victim to a cyber crime are relatively higher.

The competition shall be open for all college/university students, irrespective of the course being pursued by them. Maximum of 3 individual participation from one college/ university/ institution shall be allowed to participate.

Guidelines

• The competition will be conducted in offline mode and topic will be given on the spot.
• Participants are required to bring their own laptops and have the discretion to use any software of their choice.
• There will be continuous invigilation during the competition.
• Original works produced by the participants must be submitted. Copyright violations or plagiarism will not be accepted.
• Submissions made by the participants cannot contain any obscene or abusive content of any kind.
• Participants will be given 1 hour to showcase their creativity in the form of a meme.
• After completion, participants must take a screenshot of the meme and submit it via a Google Form.

Technical Parameters

• Entry (Meme) submitted must be an original.
• Entries format: Photos/graphics will be PDF/JPG/JPEG.
• Use the hashtags: #CyberMeme #DMECyberleagueChampion on the meme.

Registration Details

• Online registration are open from 24/04/2024 (Wednesday) and students must register online by 08/05/2024 (Wednesday).

• The registration must be done by filling up the registration form available at the end of the post.

Fee

• The registration shall be considered only when the ‘Registration Fee’ has been paid successfully and the registration form is duly filled with all the credentials.
• Registration fee once paid is non refundable.
• The registration fee for the competition is Rs. 200/-.
• Note: – Registrations will be based on first come first serve.
