The Advocate league organising its 1st TAL National [online] Criminal Law Judgement Writing Competition for the budding lawyers to develop their skills and knowledge regarding law.

About The Advocate League

TAL is an initiative whose work is devoted in the field of legal research such as publications and organizing conferences. We have a team which is dedicated for bringing reforms in legal arena thus, consists of students and alumni of various top colleges and universities, in the field law, of the country. The Advocates League is also under the guidance of eminent personalities of the legal fraternity such as distinguished lawyers and judges of Supreme Court and various High Courts. Through this initiative we aim to provide legal aid to empower individual rights.

Eligibility

• This competition is open for the law student who pursuing Bachelor`s Degree in law,

• Co-authorship up to 1 participant is permitted.

Registration

• Form: The registration shall be done through a google form.

• Individual Registration: Every participant must register individually. Meaning

thereby, in case of co-authors, both the participants of a team but have to register

separately.

• Registration Fee: Single authorship: INR 200 and for Co-authorship: INR 350.

• Mode of Payment: Registration Fees should be paid online. Kindly take the

screenshot of payment ID for reference.

• Post Registration: A confirmation mail will be sent, on the registered Email ID of the

participants, on approval of registration.

Important Date

• Last Date of Registration - 30th April, 2020.

• Last date for Releasing of Team codes - 05th May, 2020.

• Last date for submission of the Soft copies - 20th May, 2020.

• Results - 01st June, 2020.

Prizes

1. Cash Prize

• First Prize: ₹2100

• Second Prize: ₹1100

• Third Prize: ₹500

2. Internships, to the first three position holders will also be provided.

3. Other Prizes

• Shortlisted Judgements will be published with the name of the author.

• Certificate of Merit would be awarded to the top ten participants.

• Certificate of Participation will be given to all the participants.
