About the Workshop

iProbono is organising a 2-day virtual workshop on “Access to Information – How to File Effective RTIs” on 22 and 23 September 2022. 

The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Venkatesh Nayak, a prominent RTI activist from the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI).

• Day 2: Friday, September 23, 2022 (3 PM – 6 PM)

• Platform: Zoom (login details will be sent to registered participants closer to the date).

This online workshop is for NGOs and individuals working in the development sector who often face a variety of issues and hurdles while navigating the right to information ecosystem.

The sessions will provide an overview of the laws and procedures governing access to information, provide insights on how to file effective RTI applications, engage in practical drafting exercises as well as discuss best practices.
