About Gujarat Maritime University

Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) is an endeavour by the Gujarat Maritime Board, Government of Gujarat, to provide a fillip to the maritime sector by bridging the knowledge gap within the industry. GMU has been established to serve the global maritime community by producing educated and well-trained professionals in the maritime domain. It aims to enhance and increase the human capital and capacity of the maritime industry both in India and across the globe. University operates the School of Maritime Law, Policy & Administration (SMLPA), which offers LL.M. and Executive Diploma Programmes in Maritime Law and International Trade Law. The University also offers MBA in shipping and Logistics under its school of Maritime Management (SMM).
