Conference on Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights and Entrepreneurship @Mumbai University [May 11]: Submit by May 2

Mumbai University is conducting the National Conference on Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights and Entrepreneurship on May 11, 2019 at the Thane Campus.

Theme of the Conference

Individuals have thoughts and ideas. In business, new ideas can prompt new products and services. They can prompt a superior method for accomplishing something. Thoughts and ideas can originate from existing organizations through innovative work.

The effective use and management of Intellectual Property and IPR is the need of the hour for entrepreneurs and to minimize the risk involved in the new venture. The objective of the conference is to provide a platform to academicians and researchers along with the industry people to discuss the changing role of IP in economic, social, cultural and entrepreneurship development.

The conference will focus on the central theme of “INNOVATION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP”, with the following sub-themes:

1. IPR- Changing Concerns 2. IPR Issues in Research and Creative works 3. IP for Economic Development 4. Gender and Entrepreneurship 5. Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship 6. Social Entrepreneurship 7. The Role of formal Education System in fostering Entrepreneurship

Call for Papers/Posters

Original papers (preferably research based) from teachers of various disciplines, researchers, educational administrators on any aspect of INNOVATION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS&ENTREPRENEURSHIP are welcome.

The Abstract for the presentation should be approximately 250 words and full length papers 2500 words. The complete paper /poster should be submitted on or before May 2, 2019.

The abstract along with paper should be sent by e-mail only to conference.mutc@gmail.com.

Registration Fee

Rs.1000 (Academicians &Industry Professionals) Rs.500 (Research Scholars)

The registration fees should be paid through Cash/demand draft drawn in favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai, payable at Mumbai. The registration fee includes seminar material, lunch, tea and snacks.

The D.D. of Registration fees along with the registration form should be submitted in the office of the University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus, Thane on or before May 2, 2019.
