About the Conference

The law school of Delhi Metropolitan Education is organizing a one day National Conference on the theme “The Genesis to Terminus of Article 370: Socio-Legal Perspectives” on 24th January 2020. 

This one-day national conference aims at discussing the pre and post effects of scrapping this Special Status of the State of Jammu & Kashmir and the repercussions if any on Indian politics, democracy, federalism and foreign relations.

It also would discuss the political, legal, socio-economic and constitutional aspects of this move to understand if it gives citizens of J&K, a ray of hope or pushes them into an impasse.

Call for Papers

Best 30 papers will be published as a Book by Thakkar Law Publishers. The book, bearing ISBN, shall be released on 24th January 2020.

The abstract and the complete papers to be sent at conference2020[at]dme.ac.in.

Registration Details

The participants have to register themselves to participate in the conference. The registration form can be downloaded from the website, here. No TA/DA shall be provided to the participants.

The registration charges can be paid at any time on or before 22nd November 2019. Please mention the subject as ‘Law Conference’ while making the payment. Certificate for participation shall be issued on the day of the conference after its completion. No certificate shall be issued in absentia and there shall be no refund of the registration fee in any circumstances.
