About the Research, Review, and Readers Cell

The Research, Review, and Readers Cell (RRR Cell) is an academic and research-oriented student body of the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. The Cell aims to promote legal research, critical analysis, and scholarly writing through academic events, book projects, and research initiatives across diverse areas of law.

About the Book

The Research, Review, and Readers Cell, NLIU Bhopal, is now accepting original and unpublished chapters for an upcoming edited book titled “Contemporary Issues Relating to Infrastructure Law and Policy.”

The proposed volume aims to undertake a multidimensional analysis of the evolving landscape of infrastructure and energy law in India. It seeks to critically examine recent policy developments, regulatory frameworks, and their impact on key stakeholders including consumers, developers, investors, and the public at large.

Indicative Sub-Themes Include

  • Energy sector 
  • Transport & aviation sector 
  • Real estate, telecommunication & allied sectors 

Authors are welcome to submit chapters on any other topic related to the core theme of the book.

Eligibility

Submissions are invited from:

  • Academicians
  • Legal practitioners and advocates
  • Research scholars
  • Students
  • Other stakeholders interested in arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and allied areas

Only original and unpublished manuscripts are eligible for submission.

Guidelines for Submission

All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 250 words with up to five keywords. The abstract must expressly include the novelty and usefulness of the idea that the author wishes to put forth and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article, beyond the existing available literature, and the practical utility of his/her recommendations.

A cover letter must be submitted along with the manuscript, clearly mentioning- Name(s) of the author(s), University/Organisation, Title of the chapter, Email address, Mobile number.

All chapters will be subjected to double-blind peer review and anti-plagiarism checks. The book will be published by a reputed and renowned publishing house.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word limit: 3,000–6,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words with up to five keywords
  • Co-authorship Permitted (maximum two authors)
  • Citation style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
  • Manuscript format: MS Word (.doc/.docx), Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5-line spacing
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10, single spacing.
  • Endnotes are not permitted.

How to Submit?

that All chapters must be sent by e-mail to infralaw@nliu.ac.in latest by 24 June, 2026. Submissions made after the deadline shall not be considered for publication.

Fee & Publication Details

There is no publication and processing fee. The book will be published by a reputed and renowned publisher. All chapters will be subjected to a double-blind peer review process and anti-plagiarism checks.

Not applicable.

Deadlines / Important Dates

  • Last date for submission: 24 June 2026
  • Communication of acceptance (tentative): 5 September 2026
  • Expected publication: December 2026
