About ACIPR

Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (ACIPR) is established with the aim of evolving as a centre of excellence in IPR Research and Innovation. It intends to engage academicians, jurists, research scholars, and practitioners in research and training to promote and protect IP rights.

The Centre is an initiative of Alliance School of Law, Alliance University Bengaluru for making an active contribution to the development & promotion of all forms of IP rights. It aims to give special emphasis on fostering research & development in the unexplored areas of the IP domain.  

Theme

ACIPR is accepting submissions for Volume 2 Issue 2 of its E-Newsletter revolving around the central theme of “Gender equality, diversity, and Intellectual Property”.

Submission Categories

Please ensure that the articles fall under one of the following categories: 

1. News Articles 
2. Global Developments 
3. Case briefs 

Sub-Themes

Sub-themes may include:  

1. Gender Disparity  
2. LGBTQ Community  
3. Women in IP  

The above list is not exhaustive in nature.   

Eligibility

Applications are invited from practitioners, academicians, journalists, students of any discipline, or anyone who is interested in intellectual property rights. 

Submission Guidelines

1. The blog article should be between 350-500 words. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make changes to these conditions and guidelines mentioned herein.  
2. The maximum co-authorship for a paper is limited to one.  
3. Submissions shall be typewritten in MS Word, Times New Roman font size 12 with line spacing 1.5 and justified alignment  
4. All the blog Articles should be submitted with a cover page with the following information: Name, Institutional Affiliation, Correspondence Address, E-Mail ID and Phone Number.  
5. The authors should conform to the Bluebook (20th edition) Uniform System of Citation. 
6. References shall be typewritten in, Times New Roman, font size 10, single-line spacing, and justified alignment.   
7. The submission must be the original work of the authors. Plagiarism beyond 10% shall not be accepted.   
8. School of Law, Alliance University shall be the sole copyright owner of all the published materials.  
9. Alliance School of Law shall not charge any publication fee.
