CrPC Section 259. Power of court to convert summons-cases into warrant cases ( English )

समन-मामलों को वारण्ट-मामलों में संपरिवर्तित करने की न्यायालय की शक्ति-जब किसी ऐसे अपराध से संबंधित समन-मामले के विचारण के दौरान जो छह मास से अधिक अवधि के कारावास से दंडनीय है, मजिस्ट्रेट को यह प्रतीत होता है कि न्याय के हित में उस अपराध का विचारण वारण्ट-मामलों के विचारण की प्रक्रिया के अनुसार किया जाना चाहिए तो ऐसा मजिस्ट्रेट वारण्ट-मामलों के विचारण के लिए इस संहिता द्वारा उपबंधित रीति से उस मामले की पुनः सुनवाई कर सकता है और ऐसे साक्षियों को पुनः बुला सकता है जिनकी परीक्षा की जा चुकी है ।
