On Tuesday, the Delhi High Court Judge, Justice Rajiv Shakdher recused himself from hearing Amazon’s appeal against a single-judge order in its ongoing dispute with Future Retail.
He was a part of the Division Bench also consisting of Justice Jasmeet Singh.
In the said appeal, Amazon has challenged Justice Mukta Gupta order of December 2020. Amazon has been restrained from making representations before statutory authorities against the Future Group-Reliance deal. The Firm also has averrtments on certain observations made in regard to its rights and investments in Future.
