The Special CBI court has issued fresh non-bailable warrants (NBWs) against suspended station house officer (SHO) of Manimajra Police Station Jaswinder Kaur in the Rs 5 lakh graft case. She is at large.

The case will come up for hearing on July 23. If she is not arrested by then, the process of declaring her a proclaimed offender will be initiated. On Thursday, public prosecutor for CBI K P Singh moved an application seeking non-bailable arrest warrants in the name of the accused Jaswinder Kaur, inspector (then SHO, Manimajra).

During resumed hearing on Monday, the court was informed that the non-bailable arrest warrants could not be executed as Jaswinder Kaur could not be traced. The court was informed that teams were constituted and a search was conducted in Panchkula, Mohali, Chandigarh and Punjab.

Officials also visited the parental house of Jaswinder Kaur and her husband Gurpal Singh but could not trace her. Therefore, the CBI moved another application praying for issuance of fresh non-bailable warrants against her.
