About the Institute

Faculty of Law was established in the year 2017 under the benign patronage of Dr. M.R Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University with a vision of establishing a Global Law School.

The Faculty of Law offers five years integrated law programs spread across ten semesters and One-year LLM program in three specializations (Constitutional Law &  Administrative Law, Corporate Law & Trade Law and Intellectual Property Right & Trade Law).

About the Courses

BA LLB (Hons)

The BA LLB (Hons) curriculum shall consist of 27 compulsory, 4 clinical courses, 6 optional and 8 specialization courses in Law and 15 compulsory courses in BA subject (Political Science (Major), Minors in Economics and Sociology/History).

BBA LLB (Hons)

The BBA LLB (Hons) curriculum shall consist of 27 compulsory, 4 clinical courses, 6 optional and 8 specialization courses in Law and 15 compulsory courses in management subject.

Scholarship

Several PESU Scholarships are available for eligible students: Professor MRD Scholarship – 40% tuition fee waiver for the Top 20% of students. If a student is among the top 20% of his/her class (section) in terms of CGPA for a particular academic year, then he/she will get a tuition fee waiver of 30% for the next academic year of study.

Distinction Awards: If a student secures a CGPA of 7.5 and above for a particular year, then he/she would receive cash prize money as a distinction award.

Prof. CNR Rao Scholarships: 50% tuition fee waivers for toppers.

Application Procedure

• STEP 1: Choose a program/course
• STEP 2: Check Eligibility and Requirements
• STEP 3: PES University Programs require you to take online written test PESSAT. Please Register for PESSAT Test online.
• STEP 4: After taking PESSAT, the candidate shall go through a short interview on the same day of the test in our campus (for select courses only).
• STEP 5: Confirmation/Rejection and payment of fees if selected
• STEP 6: Start your program/course.
