Orissa High Court organizes National Lok Adalat on May 14

Orissa High Court has scheduled 2nd National Lok Adalat in the High Court premises on Saturday the 14th day of May, 2022 through Hybrid Mode.

The National Lok Adalat is conducted under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, in association with the Odisha State Legal Services Authority and the High Court Legal Services Committee.

The following matters will be taken up for disposal in the aforesaid National Lok Adalat.

  1. Criminal Compoundable Matters
  2.  Criminal Revision U/s 138 of NI Act
  3. Bank Matters (Relating to SARFAESI Act.
  4. Electricity & Water Bill Matters
  5. Matrimonial Matters
  6. Land Acquisition Matters
  7. Matters (pending in District Courts and High Court only)
  8. Revenue
  9. MACA & F.A.O Matters (Relating to Motor Accident Claim Appeals)
  10. Service Matters (Relating to pay, Allowances and Retiral Benefits)
  11. Other Civil Matters (Rent, Easmentary rights etc.)

The learned counsels desirous of getting their matters settled before the aforesaid Lok Adalat, may submit Mention Memos before the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, 1st Floor of Aain Seva Bhawan, Sector-I, C.D.A., Cuttack on all working days between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. latest by 25.04.2022. Concerned Judicial Sections of the Court are also requested to send the records to the office of Lok Adalat (H.C.L.S. Committee) as per Memo/list received at their end latest by 30.04.2022.
