National Lok Adalat to be held in Anantnag on Dec 11, 2021 [Read Notice]

For amicable settlement of pre-litigation and pending cases in the courts, the National Lok Adalat would be held under the chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Service Authority Anantnag on 11 December 2021 at District Headquarter Anantnag and in Subordinate Courts of the district.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that during the Lok Adalat, cases under Section 138 NI Act, MACT, matrimonial, family disputes, labour disputes, civil, criminal, bank recovery, electricity, water bills, and cases related to other civil matters should be taken up for settlement.

He said that all the concerned judicial officers have been requested to identify the cases fit to be taken up in the National Lok Adalat and submit the list of these cases to DLSA Anantnag by or before 5 December 2021.

Meanwhile, the litigants interested to settle their dispute in the proposed National Lok Adalat have been directed to approach the concerned courts immediately so that their cases should be listed for amicable settlement in the National Lok Adalat.
