Students think twice before you drive your vehicle in inebriated state in the city of Cyberabad.

The reason Students need to beware is that if students are caught in drunken driving, then one’s admission in colleges or University might be cancelled.

These measures have been adopted following death of 10-year-old Ramya in a ghastly mishap by  the students near the Banjara Hills in Cyberabad East.

The Police  Department has thus decided to take stringent measure by writing to the college/school management to cancel the admission of such students, if any such student is caught in drunken driving.

Cyberabad East Police in its statement stated that, “About 200 people have been caught till now while driving vehicle in inebriated  state.

Apart from imposing penalty, we will be providing counselling to the students in presence of their family members.

Cyberabad East Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagavat stated that, When the students want to get passports or if they are selected for jobs, their offences will come out during the police verification that would affect their career as well, he warned. IE
