Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, on Thursday, alleged that actor Sushant Singh Rajput was 'murdered'. Swamy took to Twitter and posted a document which showed that 24 of 26 points supported the alleged murder theory.

"Why I think Sushanth Singh Rajput was murdered," Swamy said along with a photograph of the document. According to the document tweeted by Swamy, the mark on Rajput's neck did not match suicide but instead matched a homicide. The document further claims that for suicide by hanging, one has to hang himself by removing the table under his feet. "This huge force is not possible in homicidal strangulation," the document states.

According to the document, marks on Rajput's body indicate 'beating. It also says that there was no suicide note and it is possible that Disha Salian, the manager who committed suicide before Rajput knew something along with him.

Shortly later, Swamy also questioned if Mumbai Police is following the CrPC. "Mumbai Police thinks FIR stands for "Final" Information Report as per M3, not "First" Information Report as per the Criminal Procedure Code. So to register the  "FIR" the Mumbai Police is waiting for all the information to come in. Is Mumbai Police following M3 prepared Cr.PC?" he said.

Swamy demands CBI probe into the matter

On Wednesday, Swamy spoke to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and said that he will initiate a CBI inquiry into the matter.

"I spoke to Nitish Kumar on the phone. I praised the Patna police and the freehand he has given for the FIR and a thorough investigation. Since now there are two probes, I will initiate (sic) for a CBI probe. He said he has no objection but wants justice done for Sushant and culprits caught," Swamy said in a tweet.

Swamy's comments came shortly after Rajput's father lodged a complaint against the late actor's rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and six others, including her family members for alleged abetment to suicide. Rajput, 34, was found hanging from the ceiling of his Bandra residence on June 14. The alleged suicide triggered a nationwide debate on nepotism in the film industry.
