In wake of global pandemic of COVID-19, this year's edition of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) has been postponed once again as the Government has extended the Nationwide Lockdown till May 03.
CLAT 2020, will now be held on June 21. Duration will be 3 pm to 5 pm.
Convenor of CLAT 2020 and Vice-Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur Prof Balraj Chouhan has confirmed on the development, after conducting a meeting with CLAT Consortium on Tuesday.
In view of the change in exam date, the last date for application has been extended to May 18.
Students are required to clear the CLAT exam to take admission into National Law Universities across the country.
The edition for the year 2020 was earlier postponed to May 24 in view of the first lockdown observed.
The original date for the exam was scheduled to be on May 10 which couldn't go as per plan since the uninvited pandemic spread.
