CBSE Class 12 Board Exams final decision to announced by Thursday: Supreme Court

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has answered to the Apex Court that it still needs time before announcing the final decision on remaining Class 12 exams. Therefore, CBSE Board will declare the complete details by Thursday.

The Solicitor General, appearing for the Central Govt & the CBSE said that “The decision-making process is at an advance stage & would be finalized by Thursday".

The CBSE case is still ongoing in the Top Court & the next hearing is deferred till 2 pm, Thursday.

A bunch of parents has been running a campaign on social media against CBSE Board exams. As coronavirus cases are rising with each passing day, parents do not think it is safe for the board to conduct the remaining exams.

When the Apex Court questioned the CBSE Board, it replied, the decision will be out very shortly.

Parents are also demanding students to be marked on the basis of internal assessment or through online exams.

CBSE Class 10 & 12 board exams were scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 15.
