The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, is a statutory body established under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, to address matters concerning children in conflict with the law.
The primary objective of the Juvenile Justice Board is to ensure that juveniles, under the age of 18, who are alleged to have committed offenses, are dealt with in a manner that focuses on rehabilitation, care, and reintegration into society rather than punitive measures.
The Department of Children Welfare and Special Services invites application for the post of social worker members for the Juvenile Justice Board at Ramanathapuram District.
The applicant should have been actively involved in health, education or welfare activities pertaining to children for at least seven years or a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology, psychiatry, sociology or law.
