About the Programme

CYSD’s Internship Program is a unique program where students (18+) and young professionals from different backgrounds, locally or Internationally join CYSD for a month or more to exchange their skills and experiences and also get a hands-on opportunity to acquire direct exposure to CYSD’s work.

During the process, the interns are guided by a mentor who will be guiding them in with practical experience in various thematic fields. Every attempt is made to match the interests of the intern with the needs of the organization.

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for prospective Master’s Degree students & young professionals from different educational backgrounds having the enthusiasm and passion to exchange their skills and experiences by working remotely in the South & North tribal districts of Odisha.

Stipend

Internships are unpaid. However, out of pocket allowances and accommodation can be provided to exceptional candidates.

How to Apply?

Your complete (online) application must reach us at least 3 weeks before you intend to start your desired internship. Interested candidates may apply online with a write-up within 500 words (as an Attachment) mentioning his/her motivation for interning with CYSD including the following information

• Educational background
• Relevant skills and interests
• Suitable personality traits
• Previous voluntary and/or community service experience
• What do you hope to gain from this internship?
• Are you willing to be placed in a remote tribal/rural community? If yes, why?
• CV with reference shall be given priority.
