About the Organisation

Xiaomi is the world’s 5th largest smartphone maker in 2017. Xiaomi designs, develops and sells Mi and Redmi smartphones, Mi TVs, mobile apps, laptops, and Mi Ecosystem products including smart home products, wearables and other accessories.Xiaomi entered India in 2014 via Flipkart and Amazon. It has its own online portal mi.com as well.

Nature of Internship

Legal research in areas as diverse as company law, payment related laws, competition law, intellectual property laws, IT and privacy law, legal metrology, arbitration and conciliation law etc..

Work with the legal team to draft and review various agreements including novation agreements, brand license agreements, software license agreements, co-branding agreements, non-disclosure agreements, terms of service documents, marketing agreements, master services agreements, franchise agreements, IP licensing agreements, lease agreements, other commercial and technology related agreements.

Who Can Apply?

Law students in their fourth year or fifth year of law school (or the third year of a three-year degree course), who are available for a full-time internship at Bangalore, and possess flawless language and drafting skills.

Duration of Internship

At least one full month. Xiaomi requires interns throughout the year.

Stipend 

Performance-based stipend of up to Rs. 15,000.
