About Anant Merathia & Associates and the Internship

Applications are invited for internships in our Chennai based law office specializing in Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 at NCLTs across India and other corporate, commercial laws; applicants with good knowledge of Contract Law, Arbitration and other major substantive laws will be preferred. Primary focus practice is at National Company Law Tribunals, NCLAT apart from High Court/Civil Courts/other Tribunals.

Location: Chennai

Legal Intern

Internships from April 2020, round the year to assist in research on legal propositions under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016, Companies Act, 2013 and other corporate, commercial & civil laws, jurisprudence. Including Court visits.

Qualification: 4th and Final Year Law students

Internship duration: 1-3 months (part time and full time)

Research Intern

Internships from April 2020, round the year to assist in research on various topics and content writing. Must be proficient in written English; conducting research through legal/business database and using MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Including creating legal social media content, attending Court proceedings, to analyze any matter, or market research/survey in terms of market scope and potential.

Qualification: 4th and Final Year Law students. Preferably BBA LLB students

Internship duration: 1-6 months (part time and full time); Work from Home option also available.
