About MPSIC

Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission (MPSIC) is a statutory body constituted under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) entrusted with the power to receive and inquire into the appeals & complaints filed under the RTI Act. The MPSIC office is situated in Arera Hills, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Office of Rahul Singh, State Information Commissioner, MPSIC has entered into MoU with Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment to design innovative strategies for improving the system in transparency and accountability in the system under the guidance of Shri Rahul Singh.

He has given many landmark orders to promote a transparency regime, started RTI Helpline Number for citizens, and started online hearing of cases on WhatsApp and regular call to make it accessible to citizens in remote areas. 

About the Position

The internship coordinator shall be required to supervise, monitor, and coordinate various activities of the Office, ranging from providing research assistance, operation of internship program along with RTI helpline to management of various projects undertaken through collaborations with other organizations. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• To provide research assistance to the State Information Commissioner for cases going on in the Commission,
• To operate the entire internship program including processing and screening of applications, and interviewing and selecting the applicants,
• The supervision of RTI Helpline and Social Media of the office.

Eligibility

UG or PG Candidates in the field of law.
