April 30,2019:
Recently, her solo album ‘Thank U, Next’ received unprecedented attention from the crowd and found enormous appeal among the masses. The phrase has now become a part of our daily vocabulary and we can find its use mostly in captions to photos on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat.
The success of this fifth studio album has led the 25 year old Pop Star to re-think the utility of her album’s name. Ariana Grande has filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark the phrase ‘Thank U, Next.’ The anticipated object behind this move is to create a new line of perfumes and other beauty products.
Her company, GrandAri, Inc. has been successful in setting beauty trends by releasing six best-selling perfumes and a lust bath bomb in her honour.
The Pop Star’s popularity has helped her create a business entity that sells not only beauty products but also clothing and jewelry, and provides a variety of entertainment services. This business has seen a gradual and healthy growth over the last few years and is expected to reach greater levels in the near future.
The filing of this trademark application indicates that Grande would like to use the trademark as branding for products like perfume, cologne, body lotions, bath gels, shower gels, body scrubs, body powders and body mist.
