About NLS NMC

NLS NMC is one of the biggest ADR tournaments in Asia and one of the few international competitions that has all three segments – Negotiation, Mediation, and Client Counselling.

The Negotiation Segment of the NLS NMC additionally acts as a national qualifier for the coveted International Negotiation Competition – the Winner of X NLS NMC 2024 (Negotiation segment) will represent India at INC 2025.

Professionals, academicians, lawyers, and mediators make up the distinguished panel of judges at NLS NMC who thoroughly evaluate the competitors and provide insights from the field to assist them in developing and improving essential skills to excel in ADR.

X NLS NMC Key Dates

• Deadline for Provisional Registration: 12 April 2024
• Announcement of Selected Universities: 14 April 2024
• Deadline for Final Registration and Payment: 22 April 2024
• Preliminary Rounds Dates: 11-12 May 2024 (Online)
• Post-break Rounds Dates: 13 July (Offline – NLSIU Campus)

Registration Process

Registration for the event shall take place on a rolling basis. All interested universities can provisionally register their slots at the earliest by 12th April 2024, 11:59 PM (IST).

Colleges can provisionally register for any or all of the following segments: Negotiation, Mediation (Client-Attorney), Mediation (Mediator), and Client Counselling.

Slots in each segment will be offered to different Universities on the basis of their application, considering their university’s performance in ADR competitions, their ADR curriculum, and other factors.
