Academic integrity is the foundation of the academic community. Academic Integrity is a commitment to the core values of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility and their role in ensuring the health and vigour of the academic and creative community.

Academic integrity and IP are the ethical and legal sides of the same coin; they address how intellectual property can be employed in a research environment. An essential step in cultivating a legal culture in higher education participants is establishing the so-called academic responsibility for academic dishonesty and implementing a mechanism for its enforcement.

Considering the immense importance of knowledge dissemination towards IP and Academic Integrity, DPIIT IPR Chair, MNLU Mumbai, and Centre for Research in IP proposes to hold the fourth edition of the Faculty Development Program on Intellectual Property Rights and Academic Integrity from 20th to 25th February 2023.

Eligibility

The Program will benefit the participants from various segments of the community, viz., Governmental Institutes and Organizations, Academic Institutions, policymakers, Government officials, IP lawyers, legal practitioners, researchers, and academicians. Corporate professionals, Lawyers, Engineers, Young teachers of Colleges/ Department/ Faculty/ from all streams who have not completed more than five years in teaching; and senior research scholars pursuing Ph.D. in Law, Arts, Commerce, Science, Technology, Management, etc; and who aspire to become teachers are encouraged to attend the FDP.

How to Apply?

Interested candidates have to pay the prescribed amount in the account number and upload the receipt/ screenshot of the fee payment with the google form link provided at the end of this post.
