High Court grants bail to a person accused of making filthy post against Mata Janki and Laxman Ji

The Single Judge Bench of the Patna High Court, comprising Justice Anjani Kumar Sharan has granted anticipatory bail to the accused of making filthy post on Facebook over Mata Janki and Laxman Ji .

Submission of the Petitioner

The Counsel appearing on the behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and during investigation, no material has come against the petitioner.

Submission of the Respondent

The Counsel appearing on the behalf of the State opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner by submitting that the petitioner is the Admin of the said group.

Reasoning and Decision of the Court

The Court heard the arguments of both the parties and expounded that in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond.

The court ordered the accused petitioner to furnish bail bond of Rs. 25,000 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah
