About the Organiser

Harlal School of Law (HSL) was established in the Year 2004 by Shanti Education Society, registered under Society Act XX of 1860 approved by BCI, affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut & functioning as a constituent unit of HIMT Group of Institutions. Since its inception in 2004, the HSL has been engaged in revamping the legal education and promoting excellence in the teaching & research in Law.

Its enviable infra-structure and academic ambience bonded with friendly atmosphere foster the students’ desire to excel. The building is a magnificent structure, spread over several acres of land and situated in the lap of nature by the side of 8 Lane Expressway at Knowledge Park 1 of Greater Noida.

Details of the 3rd Moot Court Competition

The Harlal School of Law is organizing the 3rd National Moot Court Competition. This competition is a testament to our commitment to legal education, providing a platform for students to refine their advocacy skills, engage in intellectual debates, and experience the essence of courtroom proceedings.

Eligibility

Open to bona fide students pursuing a 3-year/5-year LLB course during the academic year 2024-25 from any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Each participating law school/university can send only one team consisting of atleast two members (both acting as Mooters) or maximum 3 members (2 mooters and 1 researcher).

Registration Procedure

Each team shall complete the registration within the stipulated time. The registration is a two-step process comprising of filling up of the registration form and payment of the registration fee as provided in Rule 7.

Deadline

Registration will be open till 6th April, 2025 (11:59 P.M. IST).

The Teams are required to send a bona-fide letter issued by the appropriate authority of their College or University along with the duly filled registration form.

Registration Fees

The Registration Fee is INR 2400/team.

Prizes

  1. The Winning Team shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 10,000/INR.
  2. The Runner-ups Team shall be awarded a cash prize of 7500/- INR.
  3. The Best Written Submission award carries a Plaque and cash prize of 2000/- INR.
  4. The Best Speaker shall be awarded a Plaque and a cash prize of 2000/- INR.
  5. The Best Researcher shall be awarded a Plaque and a cash prize of 1500/- INR.

Note: The Prize Money can be increased depending upon the sponsorship.
